Accreditation

If you are looking for a beauty school noted for its academic excellence, be sure to look for an accredited cosmetology school.

Choose a cosmetology school with a reputation for quality and affordability.

If you are looking for a beauty school noted for its academic excellence, be sure to look for an accredited school. These schools are certified to meet high standards of state and federal education. All of The Hair Design Schools are accredited, and each location is licensed by its home state.

What does accreditation mean?

The term means that a school is in compliance with a strict set of guidelines set forth by the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences (NAACCS). The Department of Education (DOE) oversees the accrediting organizations. Regulations include approval of classroom materials, curriculum content and instructors’ qualifications.

Why is accreditation important?

To become accredited, a beauty school must meet official performance requirements. This means students receive the best education in the beauty business. It also makes it possible for students enrolling in a Hair Design School to receive federal financial aid.

How can accreditation help my future?

By attending an accredited school, a student will not only have potential access to secure financial aid, but can also catch the eye of future employers in the cosmetology business. Established beauty industry professionals realize that graduates from an accredited school receive a quality education and tend to notice those applicants. Consider it a badge of honor on your resume or portfolio.

Where can I learn more about accreditation at The Hair Design Schools?

Contact a Career Planning Specialist at your local Hair Design School for more details and to learn about the best ways to obtain an affordable cosmetology education.
